Seed Share Library
-
Established in April of 2022, our seed share library is located in the left hand side of the library through the front entrance.
-
Seeds are free to take as long as they are available and we ask that those who take seeds, bring back some seeds to help other community members
-
The Northwest Tennessee Local Food Network helps to provide our community with free seeds every year through their Grow Food Challenge
Community Garden
-
The Carroll County Library and Carroll County UT Extension Office partnered together to create Community Gardens on the County Complex grounds.
-
There are 4 raised beds you can plant and harvest by standing up & another 4 raised beds that are lower to the ground
-
These beds are taken care of completely by volunteers to benefit the community.
-
Once food is harvested, anything we have from the beds are put into baskets in the library lobby for anyone who would need them.
